29th January, 1919, the following resolution is recorded:
"That the company go into voluntary liquidation; and
that ROWLEY AND GILL, Accountants, Wellington, be appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that the subjoined special resolution of the above-named company was duly passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held on
the 16th day of December, 1918, and confirmed by a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the company duly held on the 6th day of January, 1919, in due conformity with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, relating to the voluntary winding-up of companies:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that NORMAN ALEXANDER WHYTE be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 28th day of February, 1919, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to Rowley and Gill, 153-5 Featherston Street, Wellington, the Liquidators of the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidators, are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

HAURAKI DRAINAGE BOARD.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Hauraki Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a special loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for widening, deepening, erecting flood-gates, and improving present watercourses and drains, and constructing new water-courses and drains, in the Hauraki Drainage District, the said Hauraki Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate, on a graduated scale according to the classification list of lands in the Hauraki Drainage District, of 11/32nds of one penny in the pound on the improved rateable value of all lands in Class "A, " 8/32nds of one penny in the pound on the improved rateable value of all lands in Class "B, " and 5/32nds of one penny in the pound on the improved rateable value of all lands in Class "C, " all of which classes and the land therein, together with their rateable values as appearing on the valuation roll of the district, are set out in the classification list of the Hauraki Drainage District; and that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hauraki Drainage Board at a

EUREKA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Eureka Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Eureka Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of constructing, widening, and deepening drains within that portion of the Eureka Drainage District known as the Newstead Special Rating Area (being all that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line along the western boundary of Eureka Drainage District from the Waikato-Thames Railway to the junction of roads at the easternmost corner of Section 3, Newstead Estate; thence along the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections 3, 2, and 1, said Newstead Estate, and of Sections 274 and 275 in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, and the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 276, 281, and 282; along the south-western boundary of the said Section 282 and the road forming the north-western boundary of that section to Section 301; along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that section and the road forming the south-western boundary of Section 13 to the Waikato-Thames Railway; and along that railway to the western boundary of the Eureka Drainage District, the place of commencement), the said Eureka Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property classified B as set out in the Schedule hereunder, and one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property classified C as set out in the Schedule hereunder. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Class B.—Lot 12 of the Newstead Estate, deposited plan 7346, 174 acres; Lot 11, 175 acres; Lots 8 and 9, 297 acres; part of Lot 2, 50 acres; Lot 7, 102 acres; Lot 3, 20 acres; Lots 4 and 5, 267 acres; Lot 6, 132 acres; Lot 10, 84 acres; the above being all subdivisions of the Newstead Estate.
