to be Clerk of the Warden’s Courts, Receiver of Gold Revenue, and Mining Registrar at Naseby, St. Bathan’s, Hyde, Macrae’s, and Patearoa, and Receiver of Gold Revenue and Mining Registrar at Livingstone, in the Otago Mining District, constituted under the Mining Act, 1908, as from the 8th day of December, 1919.

Command of the N.Z. Military Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following :—
STAFF.
Major-General Sir Alfred William Robin, K.C.M.G., C.B. (D), N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the command of the N.Z. Military Forces as from the 10th December, 1919, he having completed more than the full term of five years in that appointment.
Major-General Sir Edward Walter Clervaux Chaytor, K.C.M.G., C.B. (D), A.D.C. to the King, to command the N.Z. Military Forces as from the 10th December, 1919.
N.Z. STAFF CORPS.
Colonel (Major-General, N.Z. Expeditionary Force) Sir Edward Walter Clervaux Chaytor, K.C.M.G., C.B. (D), A.D.C. to the King, is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force and absorbed into the Establishment of the N.Z. Staff Corps, with the rank of Major-General, and with seniority in that rank dating from the 22nd April, 1917. Dated 9th December, 1919.

Captain A. H. Richards, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 18th September, 1919.
CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
Lieutenant H. Henderson, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 28th September, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) H. A. Perkins, M.M., relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on ceasing to perform the duties of a Company Commander, Canterbury Detachment, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling. Dated 1st September, 1919.
OTAGO REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant G. I. Black to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 26th September, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) G. F. Brinsley relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on ceasing to hold the appointment of Adjutant, Otago Detachment, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling. Dated 12th August, 1919.
WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Lieutenant P. J. O’Dowd is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst holding the appointment of Quartermaster, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, vice Lieutenant C. Street, relinquished the appointment. Dated 2nd September, 1919.
N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE.
The undermentioned, discharged in England, are struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. :—
