Amending the Description of a Reserve in the Nelson Land District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-fifth section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that where there has been any error of description made in any notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor-General may cancel any notification that may have been made in respect of such reserve, and issue fresh notification in respect thereof, with amended particulars and description:
And whereas an error was made in the description of Section 6, Block IV, Ohika Survey District, Nelson Land District, in the Warrants of the eleventh day of August and the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 105, of the twenty-first day of August, and No. 126, of the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively, reserving the land for a roadman’s paddock, the same having been described as Section 8, Block IV, Ohika Survey District; and it is expedient to cancel the said Warrants in so far as they relate to Section 8, Block IV, Ohika Survey District, Nelson Land District aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrants of the eleventh day of August and the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, in so far as they relate to Section 8, Block IV, Ohika Survey District, and do declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be the land set apart for a roadman’s paddock intended by the said Warrants.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block IV, Ohika Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Buller River; towards the east by Crown land, 400 links; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the west by Section 45, Block IV aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/233, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a roadman’s paddock.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland, Wellington, and Otago Land Districts.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland, Wellington, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Sections 36, 41, 42, and 43, Takauwhata Township (Block XV, Maramarua Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by Wira Street, 500·1 links; towards the south-east generally by Mahi Road, 420·6 and 444·7 links; towards the north-west by Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 31, Takauwhata Township, 542·9 and 439·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/58, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan 17103A, blue.) As a site for a public school.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 24, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 23, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District, 628·2 links; towards the north-east and south-east by a public road, 358·2, 135·4, and 600 links respectively; and towards the south-west by Section 23 aforesaid, 459·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/222, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan 7368, blue.) As a site for a public school.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 5½ perches, more or less, being Suburban Section 15, Town of Mataroa. Bounded towards the west by Section 3, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District, 1128·2 links; towards the north-east by the Main Trunk Railway, 638·3 links; towards the east generally by a public road, 80·4, 144·3, and 332·3 links; and towards the south-east by Suburban Section 40, Town of Mataroa, 424·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 6/1/243, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. As a site for a roadman’s cottage.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 60, Block I, Otokia District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the coast-line approximately 300 links in a westerly direction from the point on said coast-line due south from Trig. DD; thence generally towards the north-east, north, and west by a public road, 1400 links; and towards the south generally by high-water mark, 1150 links, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 61, Block I, Otokia District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Beach Street in Township of Brighton, 3150 links; towards the east by Section 47, Block I, Otokia District, 100 links; towards the south by the ocean, 3200 links; and towards the west by Crown land, 60 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/146, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple. For public-recreation purposes.

WILLIAM GUSTAVE HILLE and
GEORGE COLLINS JOWERS
to be trustees, in the place of John Fincham, who has resigned, and E. T. Davis, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the West Melton Public Cemetery, in conjunction with William Calder, Evan McLennan, and Charles Edward Walker, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
