I, LEONARD RYE, of Wanganui, Returned Soldier, hereby give public notice that I have renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of Rye, and have assumed and adopted and determined on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the surname of WINDEBANKS instead of the surname of Rye. And I give further notice that by deed-poll dated the 25th day of October, 1919, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wanganui, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of Rye, and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of WINDEBANKS instead of Rye, and so to be at all times hereafter called, known, and described by the name of LEONARD WINDEBANKS exclusively.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Ohura County Council held on the 26th day of November, 1919, a resolution was passed bringing into operation in the Ohura County, as from the 2nd day of January, 1920, Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908.

CHANGE OF NAME.
I, ARCHIBALD CURRIE, heretofore called or known by the name of Archibald Currie Keith, of Thames, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Labourer, hereby give public notice that I have formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of Keith, and have assumed and from henceforth on all occasions intend to sign and use and be called and known by the name of ARCHIBALD CURRIE only in place of my present name of Archibald Currie Keith; and, further, that such intended change of name is formally declared and evidenced by a deed-poll under my hand and seal bearing date this sixth day of December, 1919, and intended forthwith to be enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the South Hillend Co-operative Dairy Factory Company (Limited), in Liquidation, will be held in the office of the Liquidator, Great North Road, Winton, at 7.30 p.m.
on 23rd day of December next, for the purpose of laying before the said meeting the account of the Liquidator’s winding-up and disposal of the assets of the said company.

At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at Wellington, N.Z., on the 21st day of November, 1919, the following special resolution was passed, and at an extraordinary general meeting held on 5th December, 1919, was duly confirmed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that ARTHUR EDWARD WHYTE, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

I, WILLIAM HAMMOND, heretofore called and known by the name of Wilhelm August Hamann, of Gore, in the Provincial District of Otago, New Zealand, Company Manager, hereby give public notice that on the 20th day of June, 1919, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said name of Wilhelm August Hamann, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of WILLIAM HAMMOND instead of the said name of Wilhelm August Hamann.
And I give further notice that by deed-poll dated the twentieth day of October, 1919, duly executed and attested (and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District, at Invercargill, on the twenty-ninth day of October, 1919) I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said name of Wilhelm August Hamann, and declared that I assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of WILLIAM HAMMOND instead of Wilhelm August Hamann, and so as to be at all times thereafter known and described by the name of WILLIAM HAMMOND exclusively.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
