HAWKE'S BAY COUNTY.
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ngaru-
roro River at the intersection with a right line between Trig.
Stations 26 (Tawhaketewhango) and 65A; thence proceeding
in an easterly direction along the said right line to Trig.
Station 65A; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 68A
and its production to the middle of the Mohaka River;
thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with
the north-eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run 107;
thence to and along that boundary to Trig. Station B (Patua-
wahine), along the north-eastern boundary of Section 3,
Block XI, Waitara Survey District; thence to and down the
middle of the Waikare River to the sea ; thence southerly
along the sea-coast to the north-eastern corner of Te Apiti
No. 2D 3 Block; thence along the northern boundary of
that block, the eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 5, and 4,
Block III, Oero Survey District, and along the northern
boundary of the said Section 4 to the middle of the Hawea
Stream; thence down the middle of that stream, up the
middle of the Ngaruroro River, and up the middle of the
Papanui Stream to the middle of the Te Aute - Patangata
Road; thence along the middle of that road and of the Te
Aute Road to a point in line with the northern boundary
of the college land; thence to and along that boundary,
the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XV, and the
northern boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Maraekakahu
Survey District), to its northernmost corner; thence by a
right line to a point in the middle of the Manga-o-nuku River
in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run
No. 1, Block X, Maraekakahu Survey District; thence up
the middle of the said Manga-o-nuku River to its source;
thence along the northern and north-western boundaries of
Block 3 and the north-western boundary of Block I, Block 5,
and again of Block I to the middle of the Mangamauku River,
and up that river to its source; thence by a right line to the
junction of the north branch of the Waipawa River and the
Makarora River (north of Section 8, Block IX, Wakarara
Survey District); thence along a right line in the direction of
Trig. Station 30, Aorangi, to the summit of the Ruahine
Range; thence northerly along the summit of the said range
to Trig. Station Y, Block XII, Pukeokahu Survey District;
thence along a right line to a point in the middle of the Tarua-
rau River opposite the westernmost corner of Block 78,
Maraekakahu Crown-grant District ; thence down the middle
of that river and up the middle of the Ngaruroro River to
the place of commencement: excluding the Boroughs of
Napier and Hastings and the Town Districts of Havelock
North and Taradale.

Altering Boundaries of Wanganui and Waimarino Counties. [L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by subsection two of section three of the Counties Amendment Act, 1913, that the boundaries of any one or more counties may be altered in accordance with a resolution proposing the alteration passed by the Council of each of such counties in which the principal Act is in force:
And whereas a resolution was passed by the Wanganui County Council on the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and sealed with the seal of the Council of the said county: And whereas a similar resolution was passed by the Waimarino County Council on the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and sealed with the seal of the Council of the said county, praying for the inclusion in the Wanganui County of that part of the Waimarino County described in the said resolutions and in the First Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient to make such alteration in accordance with the said resolutions:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by the said Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Waimarino County, shall, on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, be deemed to be added to and form part of the Wanganui County: and, with the like power and authority, do proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the Counties of Wanganui and Waimarino respectively shall as from the aforesaid date be those set forth under their respective headings in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE ADDED TO WANGANUI COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Wanganui River at a point opposite the north-western boundary of the Ohoutahi Block; thence to and along the western boundary of the said Ohoutahi Block, the western, northern, and north-
eastern boundaries of the Otaranoho Block to the northern boundary of Section 11, Block XI, Rarete Survey District ; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the middle of the Matauriki Stream; thence down that stream to the northern boundary of Section 17, Block XV, Rarete Survey District; thence along the northern boundary and the eastern boundary of Section 17 to the middle of the Mangoihe Stream ; thence up the middle of that stream and the middle of the Matihope Stream to the south-eastern boundary of the Morikau No. 1 Block; thence south-westerly along that boundary and easterly along the southern boundary of the Mairehau No. 2 Block to the middle of the Mangaetoroa Stream; thence down the middle of that stream to the northern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Tauakira Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary and southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 3 and its production to the middle of the Matahiwi-Ohotu Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XII, Tauakira Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to the trig. station on Aratawa ; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 1, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 9, Block XI, Tauakira Survey District, to the middle of the Paparoa Stream; thence down the middle of that stream and up the middle of the Wanganui River to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
WANGANUI COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Wanganui River at a point opposite the north-western boundary of the Ohoutahi Block, being the south-western corner of the Waimarino County hereinafter described; thence following the southern boundary of the said Waimarino County to the north-western corner of Section 7, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 7, the eastern boundaries of Sections 6 and 9, Block VIII, Ngamatea Survey District, and the northern boundary of Pungataua Block and its production to the middle of the Koukoupo Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 71, Block XII, Ngamatea Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the south-
