Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Council of the County of Woodville, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Ku-meroa Riding of the Woodville County was taken on the 29th day of October, 1919, on the proposal of the Woodville County Council to borrow the sum of £400 for purchasing a cottage for use of County surfaceman.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 29, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 3.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, ROBERT EDWARD HAYES, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Tuapeka Brass Band is no longer carrying on its operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Southland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
