That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan
of six hundred and fifty pounds (£650), authorized to be raised
by the Kaitangata Borough Council, under the Local Bodies'
Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of making a culvert to act
as a bridge and flood-lock in the Kaitangata Creek, the site
of the culvert to be on the intersection of the creek and
Exemouth Street, the said Kaitangata Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny one
farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the Borough of Kaitangata, comprising the whole
of the Borough of Kaitangata; and such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF BALCLUTHA.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Balclutha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges
on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by the Balclutha
Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
for the purpose of purchasing a site, sinking new bore, constructing reservoirs, and making necessary alterations and additions to existing waterworks plant to provide the borough with an improved water-supply, the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of (5d.) five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Balclutha; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,500, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing and metalling the Whareora-Horahora Road, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four and one-eighth pence (4¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Whareora-Horahora Special Rating Area, in the Manaia Riding, comprising all that area within the following boundary-lines,-
