Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks VI, X, and
XI, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken, under the Public Works Act,
1908, for a certain public work - to wit, for the purposes of
a road in Blocks VI, X, and XI, Whakatane Survey District,
Whakatane County:
And whereas the Whakatane County Council has laid
before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by
a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by
the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hun-
dred and nineteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owners of the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, and of the Whangaroa County Council, being the
local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land in Kaeo Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby,
with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the
road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken, under the Public Works Act,
1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of
a road in Block VII, Waihou Survey District, Ohinemuri
County:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms
of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land
for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Proclama-
tion taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of
the agreement hereinbefore referred .to, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also hereby
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hun-
dred and nineteen.
