TOKAANU.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block VIII, Tokaanu Township. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 5, 400 links, and by the abutment of a public road, 100 links; towards the north-east by the Waipapa Block, 600 links; and towards the south-east and south-west by Section No. 7, 500 links and 600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/371, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Trustee for the Ellesmere Public Cemetery appointed.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

ISAAC WILLIAM MAWSON

to be a trustee, in the place of John Barnett, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Ellesmere Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Andrew Anderson, William Nixon, Thomas Charles Withers, Henry Phillips, Alfred James Inwood, James Storry, Frederick John Lemon, Peter Chamberlain, and James Anderson, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Nelson Land District for other Land.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908, as amended by section seventeen of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive by way of equality of exchange any sum not exceeding twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land so granted:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land of equal value described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF CROWN LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 48 acres, more or less, being Section 14, Block I, Motupiko Survey District.

Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 317 acres, more or less, being Section 4, Block II, Motupiko Survey District.

Also that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 316 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block XIII, Gordon Survey District.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block VI, Motupiko Survey District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
