Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIII, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of a road in Block XIIII, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County :
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect to the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purposes:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart :
2 roods 2 perches.
Being portion of Section 22, Crown land, Opouriao Settlement.
Situated in Block XIII, Whakatane Survey District. (S.O. 19438.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45087, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow. A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessees and mortgagees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Otaio Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

Stopping a Government Road in Block I, Waimea Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped : 1 acre 1 rood 38·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 108, Block I, Waimea Survey District (Nelson R.D.).
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44483,
