RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the
Ruanui Riding of the County of Rangitikei was taken on
the 15th day of October, 1919, on the proposal of the Rangi-
tikei County Council to borrow the sum of £35,000 to metal
for the first time roads within the Ruanui Riding of the
Rangitikei County.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 206,
and the number of votes recorded against the proposal
was 27.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1913, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the
South Riding in the Eltham County was taken on the 29th
September, 1919, on the proposal of the Eltham County
Council to borrow the sum of £20,000 in two portions of
£10,000 each, for metalling and improvement of roads in
the South Riding.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 162,
and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was
29; informal, 1.
The proposal is therefore declared carried.
