MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Mangere Riding of the County of Manukau taken on the 27th day of September, 1919, on the proposal of the Manukau County Council to borrow the sum of £30,000 for the following object,—
Re-forming, remetalling, and tarring all such public roads within the Mangere Riding of the said county as are at present formed and metalled : £30,000
the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 339, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 104 ; informal, 7.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Manukau taken on the 27th day of September, 1919, on the proposal of the Manukau County Council to borrow the sum of £9,000 for the following objects,—
The purchase of roadmaking machinery, plant, and tools : £8,000
The erection of buildings for accommodating plant : £1,000
the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 865, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 202 ; informal, 10.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
