KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.—Mangaone Riding.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Mangaone Riding of the County of Kairanga taken on the 25th day of September, 1919, on the proposal of the Kairanga County Council to borrow the sum of £2,300 for the purchase of one motor-lorry, and the expenditure of the balance in plant, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 75, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 86. I therefore declare that the proposal was lost.
