OHAKUNE LAND COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Ohakune Land Company (Limited) duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, 12 Panama Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 11th day of September, 1919, at 4 p.m., the subjoined resolution was duly passed as a special resolution ; and at a subsequent general meeting of the said company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, 12 Panama Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 2nd day of October, 1919, at 4 p.m., the said subjoined resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution :—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily in order to facilitate refund of such capital money as may become available from time to time ; and that JOSEPH THOMAS HORN, of Wellington, Secretary, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up, and that the Liquidator’s remuneration be the sum of one hundred pounds (£100).”

ALCOCK AND COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-book of Alcock and Company (Limited), dated the thirteenth day of September, 1919, and signed by three-fourths of the members holding in the aggregate three-fourths of the shares in the capital of the company, it was resolved that the said company be wound up voluntarily.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Kurow Jockey Club at a meeting held on the 5th day of July, 1919, at Kurow, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Robert Craig Gillies, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. Robt. C. Gillies, the Chairman of the Club and the Meeting, moved, and Mr. Walter Preston Cameron seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to :—
KUROW JOCKEY CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Kurow Jockey Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), doth hereby revoke the regulations dated the 16th day of November, 1915, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Kurow Racecourse situated in the district of Waitaki, and known as the Kurow Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) Bookmakers’ clerks, bookmakers’ assistants, and bookmakers’ agents.
(c.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Association, or the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
(d.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
(e.) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of housebreaking or pocket-picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908; and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908.
The foregoing regulations of the Kurow Jockey Club were made and passed by the Kurow Jockey Club on the 5th day of July, 1919, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club at a meeting held on the 2nd day of July, 1919, at Christchurch, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. James Hugh Williams, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. W. J. Moir, a member of the Club, moved, and Dr. H. T. J. Thacker, M.P., seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
