At the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of October, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Hastings Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Borough of Hastings, Lomas Settlement, known as Beatty Street, commencing at its junction with Jellicoe Street, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of Lot 21A of Subdivision E, Heretaunga Block, Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District.
Also all that portion of Jellicoe Street, situated in the said land district, borough, and settlement, commencing at its junction with Grove Road, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction to the north-western corner of Lot 22 of Subdivision E, Heretaunga Block, Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District.
As the said street and portion of street are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46981, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and blue respectively.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Opotiki County, known as the Waioeka-Matawai Track, commencing at the termination of the dray-road formation at a point on the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block I, Motu West Survey District, about ninety-nine chains north-west from the boundary between the Counties of Waikohu and Opotiki, and extending thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining the said Section 5, Sections 6, 7, and 10 (cemetery reserve), Block I, Motu West Survey District, Section 19 (stock reserve) and Section 9 (school-site), Block XIII, Urutawa Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Manganuku Road at a point on the southern boundary of Section 14, Block XVI, Waioeka Survey District; being a distance of six miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46926, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waiau Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of October, 1919.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Waiau Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

LAXTON LYFORD,
DAVID ALEXANDER McKIE,
HENRY WALTER DEWEY RODGERS,

as from the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Waiau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Coronation Hall, Waiau, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

WAIAU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 38 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Reserve 3505 (in red), situate in Block XIII, Waiau District. Bounded towards the north-west by Par-nassus Street, 1204 links; towards the north-east and north-west by Section 2, cemetery reserve, and Section 3, addition to cemetery reserve, 288 links and 671·3 links respectively; again towards the north-west by Clarence Street, 100 links; towards the north-east by part of Section 28, Annan Settlement, to the public road forming part of the boundary of Annan Settlement, 673 links; thence towards the north-east and south-east by that road by lines aggregating 2303·2 links; thence again towards the south-east by other part of Section 28, Annan Settlement, 785·56 links; thence towards the south-west by Crown land and Balmoral Street, 840 links; towards the north-west by Fernihurst Street, 600 links; and again towards the south-west by Lyndon Street, 1150 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1036, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
