St. Albans Ward of the City of Christchurch named by
resolution of the Christchurch City Council "Elmwood Park
Special Rating Area," the said Christchurch City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths (3/8ths)
of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the
unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within
the said "Elmwood Park Special Rating Area," the boundaries
of which said part are set out in the Schedule hereto; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of September in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.
Schedule referred to above.
All that area in St. Albans Ward of the City of Christchurch
commencing at the north-western corner of the City of
Christchurch; thence north-easterly along the boundary of
the said city to Brett's Road; thence south-easterly along
Brett's Road, Innes Road, Brown's Road, St. Albans Street,
and Abberley Road to St. Albans Creek; thence south-
westerly along St. Albans Creek, Bristol Street, Webb Street,
Papanui Road, and Merivale Lane to Rossall Street; thence
northerly along Rossall Street to Fulton Avenue; thence
south-westerly along Fulton Avenue to the boundary of the
City of Christchurch; thence northerly along the boundary
of the said City of Christchurch to the starting-point. As
the same is more particularly delineated and shown coloured
green on a plan deposited for public inspection at the Town
Clerk's Office, Christchurch.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of nine
hundred pounds (£900), authorized to be raised by the Waitomo
County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the pur-
pose of reforming and culverting, also metalling, part of the
Kahuwera Road situate within the Kahuwera Special Rating
Area, such area being as follows—commencing at north-east
boundary of N.L. Kaingapipi where it joins the Mokau
River; thence along the northern boundaries in an easterly
direction of Sections 1 and 2, Block IV, Totoro Survey Dis-
trict, to the north-east corner of the said Section 2; thence
along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block IV, Totoro
Survey District, in a westerly direction to a point half-way
along the northern boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Totoro
Survey District; thence following an imaginary line from
that point to a point half-way along the southern boundary
of Section 8, Block IV, Totoro Survey District, thus cutting
Sections 3 and 8, Block IV, Totoro Survey District, in half;
thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary
of Section 13, Block IV, Totoro Survey District; thence in a
southerly direction along the northern boundary of the said
section to the northern boundary of Native Block Aorangi B
Number 1; thence along the northern boundary in an easterly
direction to the eastern and southern boundary of the said
section of the Mokau River; thence along the Mokau River
in a northerly direction to the starting-point—the said
Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one and three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound
sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in the Kahuwera Special
Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of one
thousand two hundred pounds (£1,200), authorized to be
raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and culverting
Barber's Road, situate within the Barber's Road Special
Rating Area, such area being as follows—the whole of Sec-
tion 13, Block X, Mangarongo Survey District; half of
Section 12, Block X, Mangarongo Survey District; Section 6,
Block XIV, Mangarongo Survey District; Native Section
Rangitoto A Number 37B, Blocks X and XIV, Mangarongo
Survey District; Rangitoto A Number 43B, Blocks XIV and
XV, Mangarongo Survey District; Rangitoto-Tuhua 33B
Number 1, Number 2, Number 3, and Rangitoto-Tuhua 32B
Number 2, all in Block X, Mangarongo Survey District—the
said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one and one-half penny in the pound sterling
on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of
all rateable property in the Barber's Road Special Rating
Area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the first day of May in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-
half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of reforming, culverting,
metalling, or pumicing the Takiri-Mokauiti Road from its
junction with the Waimiha-Tangitu Road, situate within the
Mokauiti Special Rating Area, the said Waitomo County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and
one-half penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property
in the Mokauiti Special Rating Area, being as follows:—
Commencing at the south-east corner of Section 22, Block I,
Tangitu Survey District, and following the road-line along
the southern boundary of the said section to a point so as to
draw an imaginary line to a point on the northern boundary
of the said section, thus cutting it in half; thence along the
northern boundary in a westerly direction of section part of
Section 22, 21, then in a northerly direction along the eastern
boundaries of Sections 16 and 9, the northern boundaries
of Sections 9, 8, and part of north-east boundary of Section 7,
all of Block I, Tangitu Survey District, to the southern
boundary of Section 20, Block XI, Mapara Survey District;
thence along the southern boundary of the said section to its
south-east corner; thence in a northerly direction along the
eastern boundaries of Section 20, part of southern, the eastern,
and part of northern boundaries, Section 11, the eastern
boundary of Section 2, the eastern and northern boundary of
Section 1, to the north-west corner of Section 1, thence in a
southerly direction along the western boundary of the said
Section 1 and Section 3, all of Block XI, Mapara Survey
District, to the north-east corner of Native Block Rangitoto-
Tuhua part 61K; thence along the northern boundary of
the said section in a south-westerly direction to its western
boundary; thence in a southerly direction along the western
boundary to the north-east corner of Native Block Rangitoto-
Tuhua 61P Section 1B; thence following the northern,
western, and south-western boundaries of the said section,
the south-western boundary of Native Block Rangitoto-Tuhua
61P Section 1A, to the north-west corner of Section 2, Block IV,
Aria Survey District; thence along the western boundaries
of the said Sections 2, 3, 6, the northern, western, and southern
boundaries of Section 7, the southern boundary of Section 8,
all of Block IV, Aria Survey District, in an easterly direction
to the south-east corner of Section 8, Block IV, Aria Survey
District, this being a point on the boundary of the two
counties Waitomo and Ohura; thence along the boundary
between the two counties in an easterly direction to a point
on the southern boundary of E.R. Section 2, Block II,
Tangitu Survey District; thence following an imaginary
line to a point on the northern boundary of the said Section 2
cutting the section in half; thence following the road-line
to the starting-point.
And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
