At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of September, 1919.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Raetihi Town Board.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road situated in the Wellington Land District, Township of Raetihi, known as Alexandra Road, situated between Islington Street and the Raetihi–Parapara Road; being a distance of 40·75 chains, more or less.
Also all that road, situated in the said land district and township, known as George Street, situated between Islington Street and the Raetihi–Parapara Road; being a distance of 36·65 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of Islington Street, situated in the said land district and township, situated between Grey Street and Alexandra Road; being a distance of 30·65 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of Grey Street, situated in the said land district and township, situated between Islington Street and the Raetihi–Parapara Road; being a distance of 34·37 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of Ward Street, situated in the said land district and township, situated between Alexandra Road and Grey Street; being a distance of 32·80 chains, more or less.
As the said roads and portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46865, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

Declaring a Road in Block IV, Maniototo Survey District, Maniototo County, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of September, 1919.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46888, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Infestation by Ticks of the Genus Ixodidæ a Disease for the Purposes of the Stock Act, 1908.—Notice No. 1976.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of September, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Stock Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that infestation of stock by ticks of the genus Ixodidæ is a disease for the purposes of the Stock Act, 1908; and it is hereby further declared that this Order in Council shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rangiora and Waikuku Beach Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of September, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Rangiora and Waikuku Beach Domain :
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fifteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
HIS WORSHIP THE MAYOR OF RANGIORA, ex officio,
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE RANGIORA COUNTY COUNCIL, ex officio,
THE HON. DAVID BUDDO, M.P.,
SAMUEL HENRY GRIFFITHS,
JAMES STOKES MORRISS,
CHARLES EDWARD SKEVINGTON, and
MATTHEW HENRY STOKES,
as from the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Rangiora and Waikuku Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Rangiora County Council Office, Rangiora, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
