And whereas the Education Board of the District of Nelson
has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied
by a map (in duplicate), and also the statutory declaration,
as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and autho-
rities vested in me by the Education Act, 1914, and the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said public
school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District
of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the twenty-fourth day of September, one thou-
sand nine hundred and nineteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 2 roods
23 perches.
Portion of part of Lot 8, being part of Section 161, N.R.
(Motueka Original), Block IV, Motueka Survey District.
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46602,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross

Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-
in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion

IV, Waipawa Survey District, Featherston County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public workβto wit, for the pur-
poses of workers' dwellings in Block IV, Waipawa Survey
District, Featherston County :
And whereas the Featherston County Council has laid
before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by
a map (in duplicate), and also the statutory declaration, as
required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Counties Act, 1908, and
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said workers'
dwellings, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the Featherston County as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day
of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres.
Being Pahaoa 3c B 2b No. 2, Block IV, Waipawa Survey
District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45655,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
bordered red.

section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as a road the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured pink.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (e) of section one hundred
and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it
is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation
publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Govern-
ment road or any part thereof :
And whereas the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of
a road :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-
recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road
described in the Schedule hereto.
