WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto became vested in His Majesty under the provisions of section thirty-one of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908:
And whereas it is provided by subsection three of section thirty-three of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, that any land acquired on behalf of His Majesty under the said Act may be sold and disposed of in such manner as the Governor-General in Council directs:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirty-three, subsection three, of the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby direct that the said land described in the Schedule hereto shall be Crown land subject to and dealt with under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that land in Hawke's Bay Land District, situated in Raureka Settlement, known as Section 2, Block III, Te Mata Survey District, containing 23 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less.

Extending Time for holding Annual Meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section seventy-five of the Counties Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed βthe said Actβ), it is provided that the annual meeting of the various County Councils throughout the Dominion shall be held at noon on the forth Wednesday in November:
And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such annual meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section two hundred and seventeen of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the annual meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council, and doth hereby order and declare that such annual meeting shall be held and take place on Monday, the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at the office of the said Hawke's Bay County Council.

Extending Time for holding General Election of Members of the Te Puke Drainage Board.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ten of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is provided that the general election of members of the various Drainage Boards throughout the Dominion shall be held on the first Monday in November: And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of members of the Te Puke Drainage Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-four of the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the general election of members for the Te Puke Drainage District; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid Drainage District the said general election shall be held and take place on Tuesday, the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908:
And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the Punakitere Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Punakitere Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 375 acres, more or less, being part of the Punakitere Kauri-gum Reserve, set apart by Order in Council dated the 28th August, 1899, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72, of the 31st August, 1899, page 1592. Bounded towards the north by a right line, 5750 links; towards the east by a right line, 5900 links; towards the south by the Rakauwahi Stream; and towards the west generally by the Opuhi Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/4/7, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
