Declaring Portion of the Mangapohue Road, in the Waitomo
County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of January, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county
road.

SCHEDULE.

All that portion of the Mangapohue Road, in the Auckland
Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at the south-
eastern corner of Section 1A, Block XI, Kawhia South Survey
District, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly
direction, adjoining or passing through Section 6, Block XI,
Crown land, Blocks XI and XII, and Section 2, Block XII,
Kawhia South Survey District, and terminating at a point
about twenty chains west of its junction with the Kokakoroa
Road: being a distance of 4 miles 7 chains, more or less.
As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 45209, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.

of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 45211, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured red.

Roads.

of Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 20, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and
33, Block V, and terminating at its junction with Piwai
Street; being a distance of 36 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
county, Kakahi Township, known as Noho Street, commen-
cing at its junction with Ako Street, and proceeding thence
in an easterly direction along the frontages of Sections 40,
43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 54, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, and 66, Block
V, and terminating at its junction with Piwai Street; being
a distance of 40-26 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
county, Kakahi Township, known as Totika Street, commen-
cing at its junction with Tio Street, and proceeding thence
generally in an easterly direction along the frontages of
Sections 58, 59, 67, 68, 69, 70, 64, 65, and 66, Block V, and
terminating at its junction with Piwai Street; being a dis-
tance of 18-33 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
County, Kakahi Township, known as Tio Street, commencing
at its junction with Totika Street, and proceeding thence in
a northerly direction along the frontages of Sections 58, 57,
56, 55, 54, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, and 20, Block V, and ter-
minating at its junction with Pitotahi Street; being a dis-
tance of 18-33 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
county, Kakahi Township, known as Piwai Street, commen-
cing at its junction with Totika Street, and proceeding
thence in a northerly direction along the frontages of Sec-
tions 66, 34, and 33, Block V, and terminating at its junction
with Pitotahi Street; being a distance of 17-54 chains, more
or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
county, Kakahi Township, commencing at its junction with
Takapuna Road, and proceeding thence generally in a north-
easterly and then northerly direction along the north side of
the Tongariro Timber Company’s railway-line and adjoining
Section 28, Block I, Kakahi Township, and terminating at
its junction with Totika Street; being a distance of 14 chains,
more or less.
Also all that portion of the Whakaraparapa Road, in the
said land district and county, commencing at a point opposite
the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block III, Kakahi
Township, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly
direction for about 4 chains adjoining Section 22, Block III,
Kakahi Township; thence in a south-easterly direction for
about 30 chains adjoining Sections 46, 47, 48, and 49, Block
VI, Hunua Survey District; thence in a southerly direction
adjoining the said Section 49; and terminating at a point
opposite the boundary between the said Section 49 and
