APPOINTMENTS.

Major Frank Newenham Harvey, L.R.C.P. Ire., N.Z. Medical
Corps (N.Z. Expeditionary Force), is appointed a member
of a Special District Medical Board, with pay of Lieutenant-
Colonel at Expeditionary Force rates whilst so acting.
Dated 15th June, 1918.

Lieutenant Hugh Godfrey Wake, Unattached List (b), relin-
quishes the appointment of District Attesting Officer to a
Medical Board. Dated 11th March, 1918.

4TH (WAIKATO) MOUNTED RIFLES.

2nd Lieutenant William John Foster to be Lieutenant, under
the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913,
with seniority next below Lieutenant Ewen John McGregor.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.

No. 3 Field Company (Auckland).

Lieutenant James Finley Robertson is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers. Dated 15th June, 1918.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) Albert
Ernest Leggett is confirmed under the provisions of para-
graph 111, General Regulations, 1913.
2nd Lieutenant Albert Ernest Leggett to be Lieutenant, under
the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913,
with seniority next below Lieutenant Charles Horatio
Nelson. Dated 8th February, 1918.

2ND (SOUTH CANTERBURY) REGIMENT.

Lieutenant John Cecil Hill to be Captain, under the pro-
visions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913, dated
31st May, 1917, and is seconded from the Regiment for
duty as Assistant Provost Marshal to the Forces, as from
11th April, 1917.

a N.Z. Expeditionary Force Training Camp as medically
unfit for active service, is reposted to the Reserve. Dated
15th May, 1918.
Note.-This officer served in a N.Z. Expeditionary Force
Training Camp from 21st August, 1917, to 15th May, 1918.

With reference to the notification published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 139, of 6th September, 1917, relating to
Captain Newton Calvert Jones, 2nd (South Canterbury)
Regiment, for the words "Dated 30th July, 1917," read
"Dated 31st May, 1917."

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 139,
of 6th September, 1917, under the headings "2nd (South
Canterbury) Regiment" and "Unattached List (b), General
List," relating to Lieutenant John Cecil Hill, is cancelled.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81,
of 6th June, 1918, relating to Lieutenant John Lawton Pres-

cancelled.
