DEFERRED ENDOWMENT ASSURANCE FOR CHILDREN.—WITHOUT PROFITS.

SUM assured payable at Death if after Age 21, or at Maturity of Policy. All Premiums returned to the Purchaser if the Child dies before reaching Age 21. No Medical Examination. Premiums payable until Death or Maturity of Policy. No Instalment of Premiums, except in the case of Policies the Premiums on which are payable at Four-weekly or Monthly Periods, to be less than 10s. Policy matures on Nearest Anniversary of Policy Date to Age 30.

The Southern Side of Portion of Folk Street, New Lynn, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, 1918.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council:

And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, and clause (b) of subsection one of section thirteen of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General by Order in Council thinks fit to impose, and may refer to one or both sides of the road or street:

And whereas the New Lynn Town Board, the local authority having control of the portion of Folk Street described in the Schedule hereto, hereinafter referred to as the said street, has passed the following resolution, viz. :—

"The New Lynn Town Board hereby resolves and declares that the provision of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the southern side of that portion of Folk Street, in the Town District of New Lynn, commencing at the junction of the said Folk Street with the Great North Road, and terminating at the north-western boundary of Allotment 16, being part 257, Parish of Waikomiti":

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved in so far as it refers to the southern side of the said portion of street, subject to the condition hereinafter mentioned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution to the extent hereinbefore mentioned, subject to the condition that no building, or part of a building, shall be erected at any time on the southern side of the said portion of street within a distance of thirty-three feet of the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the southern side of Folk Street, situated in the Auckland Land District, New Lynn Town District, commencing at its intersection with Great North Road, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction to the western boundary of Lot 16, being part of Section 257, Parish of Waikomiti. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40853, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.
