Captain A. G. Henderson, D.C.M., relinquishes the appointment of Lewis-gun Officer, 3rd Battalion. Dated 7th February, 1918.

Captain P. W. Skelley, N.Z.S.C., appointed Staff Captain of a British formation, is seconded while so employed. Dated 15th January, 1918.
Lieutenant C. T. Natusch is seconded for duty with a light trench-mortar battery. Dated 16th February, 1918.

Major J. Pow, D.S.O., is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while commanding a service battalion, vice Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) A. E. Stewart, D.S.O., temporarily commanding 2nd N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and subsequently commanding N.Z. Entrenching Group. Dated 27th January, 1918.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) O. E. A. Randle is granted the acting rank of Captain while employed under the Directorate of Forestry. Dated 24th February, 1918.
Memoranda.
2nd Lieutenant (now Lieutenant) E. Baxter performed the duties of Adjutant, 1st Battalion, from 2nd August, 1917, to 28th August, 1917, vice Captain (now Major) A. H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., on leave and sick.
2nd Lieutenant (now Lieutenant) L. J. Rowe performed the duties of Adjutant, 1st Battalion, vice Major A. H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., acting as 2nd in command of Battalion, from 27th December, 1917, to 25th January, 1918.
N.Z. MAORI (PIONEER) BATTALION.
Captain C. W. Salmon, D.C.M., is transferred from N.Z. Engineers, Field Companies, with seniority from 14th February, 1918. Dated 14th February, 1918.
Lieutenant T. C. Evans is seconded for duty to New Zealand. Dated 18th February, 1918.

Major H. H. Wright, A.S.C., rejoined British Army, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 11th October, 1917.
Lieutenant H. A. Potvine, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Captain while performing the duties of Supply Officer. Dated 19th January, 1918.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain M. Ramsay, M.B., attested in England, is taken on the strength of the N.Z.E.F. with seniority from date of attestation. Dated 23rd February, 1918.
