Lieutenant G. F. Johnston, having been absent from his unit off duty for four months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34. Dated 10th October, 1917.

Lieut.-Colonel F. Symon, C.M.G., D.S.O., R.N.Z.A., to command a brigade, vice Lieut.-Colonel J. A. Ballard, R.A., rejoined British Army. Dated 10th January, 1918.

Lieutenant W. J. Hicks, M.M., relinquishes the appointment of Orderly Officer, 1st Brigade, on return to duty with a battery. Dated 11th October, 1917.

2nd Lieutenant (now Lieutenant) R. E. Bennett, M.C., to be Orderly Officer, 1st Brigade, vice Lieutenant W. J. Hicks, M.M. Dated 11th October, 1917.

Lieutenant (temporary Captain) F. J. W. Stallard, M.C., from commanding a heavy trench-mortar battery to command a medium trench-mortar battery, and retains the temporary rank of Captain while so employed to complete Establishment. Dated 16th February, 1918.

Lieutenant L. S. Carmichael, M.C., to command a medium trench-mortar battery, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain while so employed, to complete Establishment. Dated 16th February, 1918.

Lieutenant (temporary Captain) R. Irvine, R.N.Z.A., relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 18th January, 1918.
