HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, and transfers of the undermentioned officers on active service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, vide List No. 60, N.Z.E.F. Orders.

COMMANDS AND STAFF.

Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Brigadier-General) H. Hart, D.S.O., Wellington Regiment, from commanding 4th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, to command 2nd N.Z. Infantry Brigade. Dated 7th February, 1918.

Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) A. E. Stewart, D.S.O., N.Z. Rifle Brigade, from temporarily commanding 2nd N.Z. Infantry Brigade, to command N.Z. Entrenching Group. Dated 7th February, 1918.

Brevet-Colonel (temp. Brigadier-General) W. G. Braithwaite, C.M.G., D.S.O., p.s.c., Royal Welsh Fusiliers, appointed B.G.G.S. of a British corps, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 11th February, 1918.

Major C. J. S. W. Paddon is discharged from the N.Z.E.F. on account of ill health caused by wounds. Dated 31st January, 1918.

Lieutenant F. S. Wilding to be N.Z. Divisional Artillery Gas Officer, to complete Establishment. Dated 16th December, 1917.

Lieutenant (Acting Captain) H. T. Jones, R.N.Z.A., rejoining his unit, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, N.Z.F.A., Reserve Depot, and the acting rank of Captain. Dated 1st February, 1918.
