the western boundary of such section to the Rangitautau
West Road.

“ That the owners of Section 15, Block X, Nukumaru
Survey District, having dedicated as a public road a strip of
land along the northern boundary of such section from the
Rangitautau West Road to the eastern boundary of such
road, so as to make such portion of a uniform width of forty
feet, the Waitotara County Council does hereby declare that
the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the
Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the above-
mentioned portion of the Omaranui Road ”:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolutions
should be approved :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the
said resolutions.

SCHEDULE.

All that portion of Omaranui Road, in the Wellington Land
District, Waitotara County, commencing at the north-
western corner of Section 15, Block X, Nukumaru Survey
District, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction,
abutting upon Section 15 aforesaid and Section 6 and 7,
Block X, Nukumaru Survey District, and terminating at
the south-eastern corner of the said Section 7. As the said
portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 44048, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District, and thereon coloured blue.

Revoking the Naturalization of certain Enemy Aliens.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of June, 1918.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to
the persons named in the Schedule hereto on the
dates set opposite their respective names: And whereas the
Governor-General in Council is satisfied that it is expedient
for the welfare of the Realm to revoke the naturalization of
the said persons :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Natu-
ralization Act, 1917, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby declare that the naturalization of the
said persons shall be revoked, and that the said persons
shall cease to be British subjects naturalized in New Zealand
as from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and eighteen.

Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of June, 1918.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and
declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land
District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the
same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act;
and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Hawea
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 98 acres, more or less, marked on plan as
Silver Island, Mid-Hawea Survey District. Bounded on all
sides by the Hawea Lake for a distance of 14000 links. As
the same is delineated on the plan marked 1/205, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wel-
lington, and thereon edged red.

approximately 12 acres, being Section 1, Block IV, Westmere
Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the
sea-beach on a line formed by extending the north-western
boundary-line of Section 451, on deposited plan No. 3060, to
its intersection with high-water mark ; towards the north-
east generally by a road reserve one chain wide ; towards
the south-east by the Town of Castlecliff ; and towards the
south-west generally by high-water mark of the Tasman Sea.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S
1913/1367, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington. and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section thirteen of the War Funds Act,
1915 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), it
is provided that any person, society, or trustees (whether
such society or trustees are incorporated or not) having con-
trol of any war fund may, with the consent of the Governor-
General in Council, transfer such fund to any other society or
trustees incorporated pursuant to section twelve of the said
Act, to be applied by such last-mentioned society or trustees
for the purposes for which such last-mentioned society or
trustees were incorporated, notwithstanding that such pur-
poses may not be identical with the purposes for which the
