Declaring Portion of Road in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighth day of June, 1918.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Government road: 4·85 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Crown land, Kohukohu Block, Block X, Mangamuka Survey District. (S.O. 19984, blue).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 25511, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Huiroa Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this tenth day of June, 1918.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Huiroa Domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM BAILEY MARTIN,
WILLIAM HENRY BUNNING,
DANIEL WATKINS,
ARCHIBALD LOGAN,
WILLIAM JOHN BRAY, and
STANLEY BEAUCHAMP
to be the Huiroa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Huiroa School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
HUIROA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Block IV, Town of Huiroa. Bounded towards the north, north-east, and north-west by Julian Street, 153·4, 670·8, and 555·1 links respectively; towards the east by Tocker Street, 822·6 links; towards the south by Section No. 2, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District, 1000 links; and towards the west by Kerrisk Street, 1025 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1315, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Taranaki Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908, as amended by section seventeen of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive by way of equality of exchange any sum not exceeding twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land so granted:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange, and has agreed to pay to the Crown a sum of money by way of equality of exchange, and such sum does not exceed twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land hereinbefore mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the area of land described in the Second Schedule, upon payment by the owner thereof of the sum of money hereinbefore referred to by way of equality of exchange.
SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF CROWN LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being Section 4, Block VIII, Totoro Survey District. Bounded on the north-east by the Tikitiki Road, 1630·3 links; on the south-east and south generally by the Kohua Road, 2421·5 links; on the west by Rangitoto-Tuhua Part 61f No. 1b, 3140·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1101, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Rangitoto-Tuhua Part 61f No. 1b, situated in Block VIII, Totoro Survey District. Bounded on the east by Rangitoto-Tuhua 61e, 2517·7 links; on the south-west, west, and north generally by the Kohua Road, 3525·8 links.
Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Rangitoto-Tuhua Part 61f No. 1b, situated in Block VIII, Totoro Survey District. Bounded on the east by Rangitoto-Tuhua 61e, 729·5 links; on the south by Rangitoto-Tuhua 61o 2b Section 3, 1774·8 links; on the west and north generally by the Kohua Road, 2496 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1101, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
