The excess of the departures from New Zealand over the arrivals therein during the month of May, 1918, was therefore 203 persons, as against 81 in the corresponding month of 1917.

NOTE.—Figures of arrivals and departures do not include members of Expeditionary Forces.
- It is important to mention that, in the returns from which this table is made up, immigrants to the Dominion are all counted at the first port of arrival, and emigrants at the final port of departure.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, ROBERT EDWARD HAYES, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the New Zealand Competitions Society (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
