WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three hundred pounds (£300), authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling Swanson Tram Valley Road, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five farthings (1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Swanson Tram Valley Road Special Loan Area, comprising the special rating area created by special order of the Waitemata County Council passed at a meeting held on the nineteenth day of April, 1918, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the seventeenth day of May, 1918, and described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one (21) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that area situated in Block 13 of the Survey District of Waitemata, and Block 1 of the Survey District of Titirangi, comprising Allotments Nos. 124, 126, 170, 171, 127, and part 172 of the Parish of Waipareira.
I hereby certify that the above resolution is a true copy and extract from the minutes of the proceedings of the Waitemata County Council as passed at a meeting of the said Council held at Auckland on the seventeenth day of May, 1918.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on by ROBERT SINCLAIR HUGONIN and HERBERT COCHAR HENDERSON, under the style of “Hugonin and Henderson,” at “Kairuru,” Takaka Hills, in the business of Sheep-farmers was this day dissolved by mutual consent.
All moneys owing to the late firm will be payable to the said HERBERT COCHAR HENDERSON, and all moneys owing by the said firm will be paid by the said HERBERT COCHAR HENDERSON.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of A. H. Atkinson and Company (Limited), in Voluntary Liquidation, will be held at the office of Messieurs McIntyre and Murphy, Solicitors, Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Friday, 28th June, 1918, at 2 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the Liquidator. The company will be asked to declare by extraordinary resolution how the books, accounts, and documents of the company and the Liquidator are to be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that upon the hearing at Invercargill on the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, of a petition on that behalf by Murrays (Limited), a company incorporated under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, carrying on business at Invercargill and elsewhere in the Dominion of New Zealand as a manufacturer, seller, and exporter of condensed milk and other milk products, the sanction of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District, was granted giving the said company leave to change its name from “Murrays (Limited)” to “The New Zealand Milk Products (Limited),” under which changed name the company will henceforth carry on its business as heretofore.

WALLINGFORD ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wallingford Road Board to take (under the provisions contained in section 18 of the Public Works Act, 1908) certain lands in Block 32, Porangahau C.G. District, Block XIII, Motuotaria S.D., Patangata County, for the purpose of a road.
A plan of the road proposed to be taken may be seen at Mr. T. E. Whelch’s Lake Station homestead, and any person having any well-grounded objection to the taking of the above-mentioned lands shall make such objection in writing, addressed to the Clerk of the Wallingford Road Board at Porangahau, within forty days after the date hereof.
