A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister charged for the time being with the administration of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs, and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the Governor-General; and shall from time to time recommend what lands, whether Crown or private, shall be permanently reserved as scenic, thermal, or historic reserves: And whereas the said Board was duly directed to inspect and report on the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and has recommended that the said land should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be a scenic reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
MARSDEN CAVES.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 125 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 764, Block I, Hohonu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west and north generally, 74·3, 690·5, 407·9, 897·6, 729·6, and 666·7 links respectively by Limestone Road; towards the east, 5384·2 links by Crown land; towards the south generally, 189·1, 535·9, 951·2, 396·5, 655·9, and 778·6 links respectively by a reserve along the bank of Card’s Creek; and towards the west, 4778·6 links, by Crown land: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/190, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and lessee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Tauranga County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Aroha Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 0 roods 10·6 perches.
Portion of Section 29, Block IV, Aroha Survey District. (S.O. 19866.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44180, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners, lessee, and mortgagee of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Rangitikei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Wangaehu Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.
