Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ormond Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1918.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons, not exceeding nine, as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of any public domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, powers were delegated to the Ormond Road Board in respect of the Ormond Domain Board:
And whereas by a special order made on the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, the Ormond Road District became merged in the Cook County, and the Ormond Road Board became thereby non-existent:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforementioned Order in Council of the eighteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and doth hereby appoint

MARK BENSON,
CORNELIUS NEENAN,
THORNLEY SHERRATT, and
GILBERT ERNEST JONES
to be the Ormond Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Board Office, Ormond, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
ORMOND DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Suburban Sections 11 and 12, Ormond Township, Block VIII, Waimata Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Whitmore Road, 1755 links; towards the north-east by Rural Section 71, Ormond Military Settlement, Block VIII, Waimata, 1433·01 links; towards the south-east by Section 10, Ormond Township aforesaid, 1701 links; and towards the south-west by Domain Road, 999·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Urenui Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1918.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

CHARLES JAMES WILSON,
ARCHIBALD JAMES THOMPSON,
ROBERT HENRY PIGOTT, and
THOMAS WRIGHT
to be the Urenui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Urenui as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
URENUI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 57 acres, more or less, being Section No. 12, Block III, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a reserve 100 links from high-water mark; towards the east by Section No. 2, Block III, Waitara Survey District, then by the Old North Road, and again by a road, 4122·3 links; generally towards the south by a reserve 100 links from high-water mark; towards the west by an intersection of the Old North Road and a reserve 100 links from high-water mark: and towards the south-west by the aforesaid reserve: save and except that portion of the Old North Road which intersects the section: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1203, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
