1916, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that for a period of twelve months from the date hereof the revenue accruing in respect of the leasing or other disposition of any part of the lands for the time being comprised in the Wanganui River Domain may, after the payment of costs of survey, maintenance, road access, fencing, and other expenses in connection with the domain, be applied in or towards the opening-up or improving of such part of the Wanganui River as is within the jurisdiction of the Wanganui River Trust.

Authorizing the Exchange of Reserves in Block VII, Kowai Survey District, Canterbury Land District, for other Lands.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1918.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto are vested in the Tawera County Council, in trust, as reserves for gravel-pits: And whereas the said County Council desires that the said lands should be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserves :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twelve of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said lands described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF RESERVES AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being Reserve 993, situated in Block VII, Kowai Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Rubicon Road, 500 links; towards the east, south, and west by Section 28327, Block VII aforesaid, 1000, 500, and 1000 links respectively. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/61, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 994, situated in Block VII, Kowai Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Rubicon Road, 500 links; towards the north-east by Section 33957, Block VII aforesaid, 1000 links; towards the south-east and south-west by Section 33955, Block VII aforesaid, 500 and 1000 links respectively. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/61A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 4016 (formerly part of Section 28327), situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Kowai Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Rubicon Road, 1037·4 links; towards the south-east by a railway reserve, 623·4 links; and towards the south and west by other part of the aforesaid Section 28327, 757·6 and 557·1 links respectively. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/61B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 4017 (formerly part of Section 28328), situated in Block VII, Kowai Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by other part of the aforesaid Section 28328, 898·4 and 536·9 links respectively; towards the south-east by Rubicon Road, 1078·2 links; and towards the south-west by other part of Section 28328 aforesaid, 505·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/61C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Altering Boundaries of Kirikiri roa Drainage District, County of Waikato.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1918.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Waikato, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said area be included in the Kirikiri roa Drainage District as constituted under the provisions of the said Act :
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such drainage district in manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the said Kirikiri roa Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the said petition and in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said drainage district, with such addition as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE ADDED TO KIRIKIRIROA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by the centre of a public road from a point in line with the western boundary of Section 13, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 26, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 26, 27, 34, 33, 49, 46, and the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of 45, all of Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence towards the south-west generally by the south-western boundaries of Sections 45, 46, 47, to the centre of a public road; thence by the centre of a public road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of that section to its south-western corner; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections 10, 11, and 12, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, to the centre of a public road, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
KIRIKIRIROA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by the centre of a public road from a point in line with the western boundary of Section 13, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 66, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; towards the east, south, and west generally by a public road to the northernmost corner of Section 44, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence towards the south-east by the north-western boundary of Section 44 aforesaid to the south-western corner of Section 45, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence towards the south-west generally by the south-western boundaries of Sections 45, 46, 47, to the centre of a public road; thence by the centre of a public road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IX, Komakorau Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of that section to its south-western corner; thence by the eastern boundary of Sections 10, 11, and 12 to the centre of a public road, the place of commencement.
