Land in Taranaki Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Taranaki Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which she has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 6, Block III, Piopiotea West Survey District: 1st July, 1918.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Land proclaimed as a Road in Whangamarino Parish, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Whangamarino Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 26 perches.

Portion of Lot 1 of Allotment 279, Whangamarino Parish, Block XIII, Piako Survey District (L.T. 2504A).

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/563, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (Auckland Plan 19882, blue.)

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of the Opuatia Block, Church Mission Society's Land, and Sections in Onewhero Parish to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of the powers given by sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and as far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
