NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court, Northern District, was on the 7th day of May, 1918, presented to His Honour Mr. Justice Cooper, a Judge of the Supreme Court at Auckland, by Edward George Levinge, of Christchurch, Medical Practitioner; Sir George Clifford, of Christchurch, Baronet; George Thompson Mulcock, of Christchurch, Sheep-farmer; James Stevenson, of Flaxton, Sheep-farmer; William Milne Hamilton, of Christchurch, Solicitor; Edward Campbell Purdie, of Auckland, Advisory Inspector in the Auckland Education Board; Alexander Bell, of Wellington, Secretary for Education; Henry Harrowell, of Remuera, Auckland, Gentleman; A. Collard, of Auckland, Gentleman; A. F. Puckey, of Auckland, Interpreter of the Native Land Court; Thomas Chanter, of Auckland, Accountant; Frank Renshaw, of Auckland, Merchant; Sydney C. W. Coldicutt, of Auckland, Manager; and Claude Coldicutt, of Auckland, Medical Practitioner; contributaries and/or creditors of the said company: And that the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court sitting at Auckland on the 28th day of May, 1918, at 10.30 a.m. And any creditor or contributory of the company desirous of supporting or opposing the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose. And a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

I, CHARLES STEWART MURRAY, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, New Zealand, 1918, now residing in Dunedin, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 1st day of June next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Dunedin.

WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.
THE MOTOR REGULATION ACT, 1908.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 13 of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, that at a meeting of the Waimarino County Council held at Raetihi on the 13th day of April, 1918, it was decided, by resolution of the said Council, “That the provisions of Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, be brought into force in the Waimarino County on the 5th day of June, 1918; and that the provisions of Part II of the said Act will on the said 5th day of June, 1918, be accordingly brought into force in the said county.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of JOHN BURNS ELECTRO PLATE COMPANY (LIMITED), in Liquidation.
THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 8th day of June, 1918, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to Messrs. Gold and Arcus, Public Accountants, of 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, the Liquidators of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the Liquidators, are to come in and prove their debts or claims at the Liquidators’ office at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution.

AT an adjourned extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Waitawheta Gold-mining Company (No Liability) held at the company’s office, 31 Shortland Street, on Monday, 22nd April, 1918, the following extraordinary resolution was proposed and carried:—
That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting of shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. H. C. CHOYCE, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
