Stopping a Government Road in Blocks IX and X, Patetere North Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 1 29·1 Mangakaretu No. 1E, Block IX.
9 2 10·9 Mangakaretu Nos. 1D No. 1, 1B No. 1, 1B No. 2, and 1A, Blocks IX and X.
Situated in Patetere North Survey District. (S.O. 17323.) In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41666, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this first day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Amending Regulations under Prisons Act.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Prisons Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the fourteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, by substituting the words “Inspector of Prisons” for the word “Under-Secretary” wherever it occurs therein.

Additional Regulations under the War Pensions Act, 1915
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of April, 1918.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by the War Pensions Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following additional regulations for the purposes of the said Act, as amended by the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1917.
REGULATIONS.
INTERPRETATION.
- IN these regulations “the Amendment Act, 1917,” means the War Pensions Amendment Act, 1917.
SUPPLEMENTARY PENSIONS.
- Application by a disabled member of the Forces for an increased pension under section 4 of the Amendment Act, 1917, shall be made in the form provided for the purpose, and shall be lodged with the nearest Registrar of Pensions, who shall forward it to the Commissioner of Pensions for submission to the War Pensions Board.
