boundary of Section 1 aforesaid to the centre of the Ohakune-Motapuna Road; thence by the centre of that road to the Mangaturuturu Stream, and by that stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 17, Block XII, Manganui Survey District; thence to the southernmost corner of that section and by the eastern boundaries of Sections 17, 14, 12, 8, 6, by a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 18, Block VIII, Manganui Survey District, and by the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the northern boundary of Waimarino County; thence towards the north generally by the county boundary to Ruapehu Trig. Station, the place of commencement: excluding the Borough of Ohakune.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Ohakune and the County of Waimarino.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Municipal Corporations' Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the Borough of Ohakune are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by an Order in Council dated the 25th day of March, 1918, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, as amended by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, and published in Gazette No. 45, of the 28th day of March, 1918.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the County of Waimarino affected by the said Order in Council dated the 25th day of March, 1918, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF BOROUGH OF OHAKUNE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section No. 2, Block V, Karioi Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of that section and across a railway and road reserve to the easternmost corner of Section No. 9, Block V aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section No. 9 for a distance of 3100 links; thence along a right line parallel to the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 9 aforesaid to its south-western boundary-line; thence along the said south-western boundary-line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 10A, Block V aforesaid; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Section No. 10A to the Ohakune-Waiouru Road; thence across that road and along its southern side to the northernmost corner of Section No. 16, Block V aforesaid; thence along the north-western boundary of that section to the north-eastern corner of Section 27, Block VIII, Makotuka Survey District; by the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the said Section 27 to the northern side of Rātamaire Road; thence by that road to the south-eastern corner of Section 26, Block VIII, Makotuka Survey District; thence along the south-western boundary of that section to and across the Ohakune-Raetihi Road; thence along the north-western side of that road to the easternmost corner of Section No. 2, Block VIII aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 2 and 4, and along the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 5, Block VIII aforesaid, and that boundary produced to the Mangawhero River; thence across that river to the westernmost corner of Subdivision No. 1 of Raetihi No. 3B Block; thence along the north-western boundary of the said subdivision No. 1, and that boundary produced to the Waimarino Road; thence across the said road to the southernmost corner of Crown land as proclaimed in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36, of the 4th May, 1911, page 1447; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Crown land to the Main Trunk Railway line; thence across the said railway-line and along its north-eastern side to railway reserve of 53 acres 2 roods, formerly part of Raetihi No. 4B Block; thence along the northern boundary of the said railway reserve and the said northern boundary produced to the south-western boundary of Raetihi No. 5B Block; thence along the last-mentioned boundary to the Mangawhero River; thence across that river and a road reserve to Section No. 3, Block I, Karioi Survey District; thence along part of the north-western boundary of that section to its westernmost corner, and along its southern boundary to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 1, Block V, Karioi Survey District; and thence across a road and along the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 1 aforesaid to the place of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF WAIMARINO.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north generally by the Kaitieke County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 1168, and by East Taupo County; towards the east by Rangitikei County; towards the south generally by Wanganui County; and towards the west generally by Waitotara County and Whangamomona County: excluding the Borough of Ohakune hereinbefore described and the Raetihi and Rangataua Town Districts.
