EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—BRIDGES NO. 3 LOAN.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,000, authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of rebuilding in reinforced concrete certain bridges and culverts (as per Schedule hereunder) throughout the county, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven fifty-ninths of one penny (7/59d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property in the Egmont County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off.

Opua Riding.

MANGAORONGO ROAD DISTRICT.
POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT THE SYSTEM OF RATING ON THE BASIS OF THE UNIMPROVED VALUE.
I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers taken on the thirteenth day of March, on the proposal to adopt the system of rating on the basis of the unimproved value in the Mangaorongo Road District, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 45, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1.
I therefore declare the said proposal to be duly carried.
