Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienations of the lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienations of the lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section seven of the Animals Protection Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby suspend the operation of the said section seven within the Feilding and district Acclimatization District described in the Schedule hereto with respect to hares.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by the Kawhatau and Pourangaki Streams from the Rangitikei River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence towards the east generally by the summit of that range to the Manawatu Gorge, and by the Manawatu River to the Raukawa Road; thence towards the south generally by that road which forms the north-eastern boundaries of Section Nos. 455 and 454, Block VIII, Kairanga Survey District, to the Palmerston-Ashhurst Road; thence by that road to Stony Creek Road; thence by that road and the railway-line to the Oroua River; thence by that river to Awahuri; and thence by the Awahuri-Bull’s Road to the Rangitikei River; and towards the north-west generally by the Rangitikei River to the Kawhatau Stream aforesaid.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, Henry Cornwell Christian, of Te Rawa, Pelorus Sound (hereinafter called “the licensee”), has applied to the Governor-General in Council for a license under the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Te Rawa, Pelorus Sound, in order to erect thereon a wharf in accordance with plan marked M.D. 4853, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and it is desirable that a license should be granted and issued to the licensee under the said Act for the purpose aforesaid, and that dues and rates to be taken and charged for the use of the said wharf should be prescribed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the purpose or object for which the said license
