Additional Land in Culverden Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway (Culverden–Waiau Branch).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway (Culverden–Waiau Branch) to take further land in Culverden Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12 perches.
Portion of Section 26, Square 84, part Lot 208, D.P. 13, Amuri, Block III, Culverden Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43795, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Paeroa–Pokeno Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the portion of the Paeroa–Pokeno Railway from the authorized line at Paeroa to a point in Block XI, Waihou Survey District (hereinafter termed “the said railway”), is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1915: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain a portion of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point marked 0 miles 0 chains on the plan marked P.W.D. 43936 (which point is situated about 1 mile 30 chains north of the Paeroa Station, and which point junctions with the section of the Waikato–Thames Railway as defined by a Proclamation dated the 7th day of June, 1888, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34, of the 14th day of the same month), and situated in the existing railway reserve formerly part Lot 2 of Thorp’s Grant, Block XII, Waihou Survey District, which point is about 3050 links due south and 400 links due west of the peg on the north-east boundary of part of the said Lot 2, proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction for a distance of about 1 mile 46 chains, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.:
Part Lots 2, 3, and 1 of Thorp’s Grant, two reserves, thence across the Waihou River and through a reserve, Ngahinapouri C and B Blocks, to the western boundary of the said Ngahinapouri B Block, all in Block XII, Waihou Survey District; and terminating at a point one chain north of road-peg at the junction of the roads on eastern boundary of Section 9, Block XII, Waihou Survey District: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
