ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General in Council may from time to time divide the North Island of New Zealand, or any portion thereof, into such districts as he shall think fit, and notice of the constitution of every such district shall be given in the Gazette:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby divide the portions of the said North Island as set forth in the Schedule hereto into districts for the purposes of the said Act, the descriptions and boundaries whereof shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby declare that, for the purposes of the said Act, each of such districts shall be known by the name set over the description of each such district respectively.
SCHEDULE.
RAGLAN COUNTY KAURI-GUM DISTRICT.
ALL that area being the County of Raglan, as the same is at present constituted.
WAIKATO COUNTY KAURI-GUM DISTRICT.
ALL that area being the County of Waikato, as the same is at present constituted.
MANUKAU COUNTY KAURI-GUM DISTRICT.
ALL that area being the County of Manukau, as the same is at present constituted.
FRANKLIN COUNTY KAURI-GUM DISTRICT.
ALL that area being the County of Franklin, as the same is at present constituted.

Declaring Portion of Beach Street, Island Bay, in the City of Wellington, to be a Public Street.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of April, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section three of the Wellington (City) Streets Empowering Act, 1909 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), it is provided that all or any of the private streets and private ways mentioned in the Schedule to that Act may from time to time, by resolution of the Wellington City Council, approved by the Governor-General in Council, be declared to be streets within the meaning of section one hundred and fifty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908:
And whereas the private streets and private ways declared in the Schedule to the said Act were, by resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and ten, declared to be public streets within the meaning of section one hundred and fifty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908:
And whereas such resolution was approved by His Excellency the Governor-General by an Order in Council dated the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourth of that month, in so far as it affected the private streets and private ways described in the Schedule thereto:
And whereas such resolution also referred to the portion of Beach Street described in the Schedule hereto, and it is considered expedient that such resolution should be approved to the further extent hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution in so far as it affects the portion of the private street described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that further portion of Beach Street, Island Bay, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, situated between the Esplanade and Knoll Street. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43891, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of the Waitotara Valley Road (Lower), in the Patea County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of April, 1918.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Patea County, known as the Waitotara Valley Road (Lower), commencing at a point 28 chains south of the southern boundary of Section 8, Block II, Nukumaru Survey District, and continuing thence generally in a northerly direction through Rangitatau No. 3 Block and Sections 8 and 9, Block II, Nukumaru Survey District, and terminating at a point 29·50 chains south of the northern boundary of said Section 9, Block II, Nukumaru Survey District; being a distance of 140 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43946, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
