Declarin Portion of Road in Block IV, Paritutu Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of January, 1918.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government
road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Govern-
ment road : 1 acre 0 roods 2·4 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 39, Grey District, and
Section 40, Fitzroy District, Block IV, Paritutu Survey
District (Grey R.D.).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43510,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

District, to be a Government Road.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of January, 1918.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
O N the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and
by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amend-
ment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native
Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act,
1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a
further period of six months the Order in Council dated
the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred
and seventeen, and gazetted the first day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all aliena-
tions of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other
than alienations in favour of the Crown.
