Portion of Rolleston Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth day of March, 1918.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General by Order in Council thinks fit to impose:
And whereas the Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act shall not apply to that portion of Rolleston Street beginning at a point one chain distant from Wallace Street and extending to the termination of Rolleston Street at the Town Belt”:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington Land District, known as Rolleston Street, commencing at a point one chain distant from its junction with Wallace Street and extending thence generally in a westerly direction to its termination at the Town Belt. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43270, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Patutahi Town Board declared a Leasing Authority under the Public Bodies Leases Act, 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Patutahi Town Board is a body of persons having power to lease lands held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Patutahi Town Board is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Portions of Roads in the Ugbrooke Estate, Omaka Road District, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the road known as the Redwood Pass Road, in the Omaka Road District, Marlborough Land District, commencing at the point marked A on the plan marked P.W.D. 33439, in part of Section 7, Block II, Omaka District, and passing through or adjoining the said Section 7, Block II, and Sections 17, 16, and 6, Block II, Omaka District; Section 4, Block I, Awatere District; Sections 17, 13, 12, 11, Wakefield Downs; 25 and 26, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; and 18, Wakefield Downs; and terminating at the Awatere River, and marked A, B, D, G, J on the said plan.
Also the road in the Omaka District aforesaid branching from the said road known as the Redwood Pass Road, between the said points marked G and J on the said plan, and passing through or adjoining parts of the said Sections 11, Wakefield Downs; and 25 and 26, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; and 18, Wakefield Downs, to the Awatere River, on the said plan, and marked G, H.
Also the road in the Omaka District aforesaid commencing at the point marked K on the said plan, abutting on part of Section 4, Block I, Awatere District, and adjoining or passing through Sections 28, 33, 29, 31, parts 30, 28, 27, Wakefield Downs; 2 of Block VIII, Clifford Bay Survey District; Sections 26, 23, 19, 20, Wakefield Downs; 22, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; Section 1 of Block VIII, Clifford Bay Survey District; Section 18, Wakefield Downs; Section 24, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; Sections 15 and 11, Wakefield Downs; 20, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; Sections 7 and 2, Wakefield Downs; Sections 27 and 28, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; and Sections 6 and 1, Wakefield Downs; and terminating at the Pacific Ocean, and marked K, L, F, G, E on the said plan.
Also the road in the Omaka District aforesaid commencing at the point marked D on the said plan where such road branches in an easterly direction from the Redwood Pass Road, and passing through or adjoining Section 13, Wakefield Downs; Section 20, Block VI, Clifford Bay Survey District; and Section 9, Wakefield Downs, to the point where such road abuts on Section 8, Wakefield Downs, and marked D, C on the said plan.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43886, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured sienna.
