NOTICE is hereby given that the repairs to signal-staff at North Head, Kaipara Harbour Signal-station (see previous Notice to Mariners No. 9 of 1918), have now been completed, and bar signals from this date will be shown by balls and semaphore as in the past.

Notice to Mariners.—No. 22 of 1918.
TAURANGA HARBOUR.—ERECTION OF DOLPHIN AND LIGHT
Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 25th March, 1918.
THE Tauranga Harbour Board have notified that a dolphin has been erected at the north end of the Stellar Passage in Tauranga Harbour, about 200 yards 35° (N. 20° E. magnetic) of Sulphur Point Spit.
An unwatched flashing light is exhibited on this dolphin at a height of 12 ft. above high water.
The light will show 3 seconds light followed by an eclipse of 7 seconds, thus giving 6 flashes a minute.
The light is white, and shows all round the horizon,
