n a Proclamation dated the 17th day of April, 1912, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 38, of the 25th day of the same month; and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction for a distance of about 1 mile 50 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Ohura Road Reserve, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District; Sections 1, 3, and 2, Raekohua Road Reserve, and Crown land, Block VII, Pouatu Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 49 miles, situated in the said Crown land, Block VII, Pouatu Survey District: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. All in the Land District of Taranaki.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43780, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks VII and VIII, Otanewainuku Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Blocks VII and VIII, Otanewainuku Survey District:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42042, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for road purposes in Blocks XIII, Waihua, and XII, Mohaka Survey Districts:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said roads; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
