Amending Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for New Zealand Military Forces.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend, in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces made on the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen; and I do hereby declare that such amendment shall take effect as from the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

SCHEDULE.

FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.

PARAGRAPH 83 is hereby amended by deleting “8s. 9d.”—the daily rate of regimental pay for a bombardier of the Royal New Zealand Artillery—and substituting therefor “9s.”

Amending Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend a regulation made under that Act, and shown in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby declare that such amendment shall take effect as from the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

PARAGRAPH 140 is hereby amended by substituting “2½d.” for “2d.” in the case of the mileage fee payable for a motor-bicycle.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the undermentioned officer to convene general or district courts-martial for the trial under that Act of such persons subject to military law as are for the time being under or within the territorial limits of his command; and empower such officer to confirm the findings and sentences of general or district courts-martial, whether passed before or after the issue of this Warrant:—
