Trustee for the Te Aroha Public Cemetery appointed.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
FREDERICK WILLIAM WILD
to be a trustee, in the place of Fred Trevanion Rowe, who has resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Te Aroha Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Stanley, senior, John Benjamin Johnson, James Buchanan Thomas, George William Mace, William Thomas Weston Hughes, George Cowley, and Alfred Bossons, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland, Marlborough, and Westland Land Districts.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland, Marlborough, and Westland Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section 14, Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District. Bounded towards the east by a reserve one chain wide along the Kaipara River; towards the south, west, and north generally by the Hot Springs Creek. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/424, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Auckland Plan No. 19310. For an addition to a public recreation-ground.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 9, Block II, Wakamarina Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a one-chain reserve along the Tunakino River, 843·7 links; towards the east by a public road one chain wide, 610·8 links; towards the south-west by Section 12, Block II aforesaid, 1007·2 links; and towards the north-west by Section 12 aforesaid, 498·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/542, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Reserve 760, Block III, Waimea Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 2321, towards the south-west by Section 2321, 186·2 links; towards the north-west by Section 3065, 539 links; towards the north-east by Grant’s Residence-site, 186·2 links; and towards the south-east by the Greymouth–Kumara Road, 535·5 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/163, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a site for a public school.

Lands temporarily reserved as an Endowment for Primary Education in the Auckland Land District.

Bounded towards the north-west and north-east generally by a public road, 326·6, 389, 640, 364·8, 323·2, and 9·4 links; towards the north generally and again towards the north-east generally by Section 25, Block XIII aforesaid, and again by the aforesaid public road, 107, 261·8, 382, 226·9, 244·9, 334, 263·5, 792·1, 317·5, and 190·1 links; towards the south-west and south-east generally by Section 26, Block XIII aforesaid, 226·2, 1040, 227·8, 355·4, 268, 208·4, 345·2, 260·8, 181·2, 321·2, 258·2, 211, 497·1, 297·2, and 357·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 7·4 perches, more or less, being Section 31, Block XIII, Waipoua Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 25, Block XIII aforesaid, 906·3 links; towards the east by a closed road, 18·9 links; and towards the south and south-west by a public road, 684·9 and 228·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/564, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. (Auckland Plan No. 18778.)

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Nelson City Council.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Nelson City Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:—

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be three years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.
