In accordance with the provisions of the above Act, I do hereby authorize—

This card must be signed by a person authorized by the Minister of Internal Affairs under section 33 of the War Legislation Act, 1917, to issue permits.

Where a collection-book is used this card must be securely pasted in the front of the book provided by the collecting society, and opposite the name of each donor must be written clearly the amount of his donation, which must be initialled by him.
The book must be returned every days with the money and goods collected, and a receipt must then be entered in the book by the officer to whom the money or goods is handed. -
If a collection-box is used it must be one supplied by the trustees of the fund, and fastened in such a manner as the trustees deem suitable.
Such box, together with the contributions, must be transmitted to the treasurer of the said fund within days from the date hereof.

PERMIT.
In accordance with section 33 of the above Act, I do hereby authorize the committee controlling the Shop to receive and sell goods, the proceeds after deduction of reasonable working-expenses to be applied as follows:—
(1.) For the benefit of the British Red Cross Society, the New Zealand Branches of same, and the Lady Liverpool League.
(2.) For the purchase of material to be made up into articles of comfort for soldiers or for sufferers from the war.
(3.) For the purchase of extra comforts for soldiers.
- The Schedule to the said regulations is hereby further amended by adding the following form No. 12:—

PERMIT TO RAISE MONEY FOR A WAR FUND BY MEANS OF BAZAARS, SOCIALS, DANCES, ENTERTAINMENTS, OR BY ANY SIMILAR MEANS.
In accordance with section 33 of the above Act, I do hereby authorize to organize and control a to be held in , at , on the day of .
The net proceeds of such shall be paid over to the trustees of the Society’s War Fund within of the holding of such .
This permit shall remain in force for day , and shall then be deemed to be revoked, and is subject to the following conditions:—
(1.) The committee controlling the must consist of not less than three persons, approved by the trustees of the fund to be benefited.
(2.) A detailed statement of receipts and expenditure must be furnished in duplicate, one copy to the trustees of the fund and one copy to the Minister of Internal Affairs. Such statement to be certified by the committee controlling the .
(3.) The expenses in connection with the must not exceed per cent. of the gross receipts.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1918.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Kauri-gum Industry Amendment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, and situated within the Mangonui County Kauri-gum District, for the purpose of promoting the systematic recovery of kauri-gum and other valuable products contained therein.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in Blocks IV, Opoe, and I, Rangaunu Survey Districts, and containing 3,000 acres, more or less. Bounded, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block I, Rangaunu Survey District, towards the south-east by the last-mentioned section and Sections 2 and 1 of the said Block I, and Sections 9 and 8, Block IV, Rangaunu Survey District, to the southern boundary of Block I, Rangaunu Survey District, aforesaid; towards the south by the southern boundary of the last-mentioned block and the southern boundary of Block IV, Opoe Survey District, for a distance of twenty-three chains from its south-eastern corner; towards the west by a right line due north to the northern edge of the Otaia Swamp; towards the north generally by the aforesaid northern edge of the Otaia Swamp to a point due north of the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block I, Rangaunu Survey District, aforesaid; and towards the east by a right line due south to the point of commencement: save and except from the hereinbefore-described area a public road, and any residence or business sites held by license under the Kauri-gum Industry Acts which may be situated within the said area. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1156, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
