Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan of £1,500 over Hunua (1917) Special Rating Area.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Hunua (1917) Special Rating Area in Franklin County was taken on the 26th day of January, 1918, on the proposal of the Franklin County Council to borrow the sum of one thousand five hundred pounds (£1,500) for the following purposes:—

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the No. 2 Special Rating Area of the Mangawara Drainage District was taken on the 8th day of January, 1918, on the proposal of the Mangawara Drainage Board to borrow the sum of £750 for the purpose of improving existing drains and making new ones in the said No. 2 Special Rating Area.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 4, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice as to Statutory Closing-day under the Shops and Offices Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, and in terms of notice in writing duly received by me from the Chairman of the Conference of Delegates of all the local authorities of the Combined District of Gisborne and Mangapapa, as constituted for the purposes of that Act, and comprising the Borough of Gisborne and the Town District of Mangapapa, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, do hereby appoint Thursday to be the statutory closing-day for shops in the said Combined District of Gisborne and Mangapapa.
