Regulations as to Registers of Native Reservists under the Military Service Act, 1916, and as to the Selection by Lot of such Reservists for Military Service.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of February, 1918.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation made on the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, under section fifty of the Military Service Act, 1916 (as amended by a Proclamation made under the like authority on the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen), the said Act was extended to Natives, with such modifications as are set out in the said Proclamations:
And whereas by the said Proclamations a Native Expeditionary Force Reserve was constituted:
And whereas on the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, by order of the Minister of Defence, under section thirty-two of the Military Service Act, 1916, New Zealand was divided into recruiting districts for the purposes of the Native Expeditionary Force Reserve:
And whereas it is necessary to make provision with respect to the manner of the preparation of registers of the Native Expeditionary Force Reserve, and with respect to the manner of selecting reservists therefrom by lot for service with the Expeditionary Force:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon him by section six and section nine of the Military
