Revoking Warrants authorizing the Seizure of Oranges, Lemons, Vegetables, Apples, and Fish.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of all other authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the several Warrants issued pursuant to the said Act and specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

  1. WARRANT dated the 14th day of November, 1918, directed to Samuel Percival Norwood, Superintendent of Police, authorizing the seizure of all oranges and lemons in the City of Wellington and the Boroughs of Hutt, Petone, Onslow, Miramar, and Karori.

  2. Warrant dated the 18th day of November, 1918, directed to Samuel Percival Norwood, Superintendent of Police, authorizing the seizure of all vegetables, apples, and fish in the City of Wellington, the Boroughs of Eastbourne, Karori, Lower Hutt, Miramar, Onslow, and Petone, the Town Districts of Johnsonville and Upper Hutt, and the Counties of Hutt and Makara.

  3. Warrant, dated the 21st day of November, 1918, directed to John O’Donovan, Commissioner of Police, authorizing the seizure of any oranges, lemons, vegetables, apples, and fish in New Zealand.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this thirteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
